HEST is an outdoor brand dedicated to bringing the comfort of home to the outdoors. We design premium products that help people sleep better, recover better, and spend more time outside.

POSITION PURPOSE

This is an entry-level position focused on the daily back-end workflows that keep sales, inventory, and finance running smoothly. This person will sit at the intersection of sales, operations, and finance, handling the behind-the-scenes work that helps enable growth.  This is a great opportunity to join a high energy startup and grow into future responsibilities within the organization. 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Create and manage sales orders and customer invoices; own accounts receivable follow-up and aging
  • Reconcile vendor and supplier invoices against purchase orders; identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Code vendor invoices for payment processing; maintain organized documentation for finance review
  • Assist with cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory records
  • Monitor order and shipment status; research unreceived orders and review inventory quantities across multiple locations
  • Support inventory forecasting activities
  • Pull wholesale and channel performance reports to support sales planning and operational decision-making
  • Support EDI and manual order processing workflows alongside the operations team
  • Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements
  • Learn and adapt quickly to new software tools as the company evolves; become a power user across our operational systems
  • Assist with ERP implementation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency - VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and consistent follow-through
  • Comfortable learning and using AI tools
  • Ability to pick up new software quickly and work across multiple systems simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Experience with inventory management
