About This Role 

A Day in the Life of an Associate Production Planner: 

  • Prepare and control the Production Schedule; coordinate the internal & external supply chain requirements to ensure appropriate flow of materials to support on time delivery of finished goods. 

  • Advises management on the status of work in progress, material availability, potential production or capacity issues, and risks to the schedule. 

  • Monitors internal and external supply chain alignment - identifies and resolves potential constraints, prepares work orders and purchase requisitions to support the master production schedule. 

  • Reviews and communicates supply vs. demand imbalances to Program Manager; provides input to Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. 

  • Plays an integral role on Integrated Product Teams (IPT) effectively interfacing and communicating with internal customers on a regularly scheduled basis. 

  • Schedules and expedites the movement of materials by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders. 

  • Supports the Product Manager / Account Manager by providing program work completion dates and / or risks. 

  • Analyzes pegging reports (and other system tools) to determine critical path constraints. Performs product lead time analysis. 

Qualifications 

WhatYou'llNeed: 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain or related fields and/or less than 2 years of relevant work experience. 

  • Familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook, MRP software, PowerPoint, MS Projects, EMatrix  

  • Experience with ERP Software, Oracle preferred. 

  • This position requires an individual to be a U.S citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
