A Day in Your Life at MKS:
Production Tech 2 is responsible for the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
You Will Make an Impact By:
We are looking for an exceptional Production Technician 2 who can...
  • Performs testing and troubleshooting of assemblies and/or final systems
  • May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing
  • Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
  • May assist in the selection and setting up of specialized test equipment

Skills You Bring:
What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity is:
  • Technical school training, or relevant experience, and a minimum of 12-18 months' experience troubleshooting to component level
  • 2-5 Years Assembly experience
  • Soldering skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced, high volume production environment and still have commitment to the quality of the product.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be highly motivated, able to work independently, and be able to work in a team environment
  • Familiar with PC programs (spreadsheets, databases, windows, etc.).
  • Performs other duties as required
  • Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments

Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in Oracle and Lean manufacturing preferred

Supervisory Scope:

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Pay Range:
Total Base Pay Range $18.89 - 31.49 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
