Radiology Didactic Trainer

The Didactic Instructor is responsible for didactic instruction within the designated program. This role involves teaching assigned courses that build the cognitive foundation needed prior to laboratory and clinical competency. Working under the direction of the Program Director, the Didactic Instructor designs and delivers course content aligned with current professional practices. Evaluation of student learning is conducted using objective, equitable, and documented criteria. The Didactic Instructor contributes to curriculum currency, outcomes assessment, and continuous quality improvement efforts. This position supports the mission of shaping clinically competent professionals who think critically and communicate effectively. The program is an entry-level radiography program designed to prepare students for competent, compassionate practice as radiologic technologists. The curriculum integrates asynchronous online coursework, weekly online meetings, laboratory sessions, and supervised clinical rotations. This structured approach is intended to develop clinical competence, critical thinking, effective communication, and professionalism. Graduates are eligible to sit for the relevant certification examination upon completion. Faculty responsibilities are clearly defined to support the program's mission and accreditation efforts.
