Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Complete structured rotational assignments across key well servicing functions and progressively assume greater responsibility for field coordination, service execution support, and operational decision-making.
- Build working knowledge of well servicing operations by partnering with supervisors, crews, and support teams to understand job planning, dispatch flow, equipment utilization, rig-up/rig-down expectations, and customer delivery standards.
- Demonstrate visible commitment to safety by participating in pre-job planning, hazard recognition, jobsite communication, incident prevention, and reinforcement of safe work expectations.
- Support frontline execution by helping coordinate daily priorities, monitor job progress, follow up on operational issues, and reinforce accountability for service quality, readiness, and responsiveness.
- Develop business and operational acumen through KPI tracking, daily reporting, downtime analysis, cost awareness, and identification of practical opportunities to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Partner cross-functionally with operations leadership, HSE, maintenance, supply chain, HR, and finance to solve problems, improve communication, and support workforce and operational planning.
- Demonstrate leadership potential by earning credibility in the field, modeling professionalism, adapting to changing conditions, and taking ownership of assigned projects and developmental milestones.
- Conduct all business activities in accordance with Axis Energy Services policies, safety requirements, customer expectations, and Axis Core Values.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor's degree preferred in business, industrial technology, engineering, supply chain, agriculture, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education, military service, internships, or relevant field experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated leadership potential through internships, student organizations, athletics, military experience, campus leadership, or early-career work experience.
- Strong learning agility, initiative, and problem-solving ability with the capacity to absorb operational, mechanical, and business concepts quickly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility with field employees, supervisors, customers, and support functions.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn operational systems, reporting tools, and KPI tracking methods.
- Willingness to travel, work extended or irregular hours as business needs require, and relocate for developmental assignments if needed.
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record required; eligibility to meet customer site access, background, drug screening, and training requirements required.
- Preferred: prior exposure to oilfield operations, mechanics, heavy equipment, field service, or safety training/certifications relevant to well servicing.
