Job description

Rinvio is hiring a Commissioning Engineer with data center and/or oil and gas experience for high-value commissioning work across the U.S.


Pay: $200,000-$250,000/year, based on experience

Location: Atlanta, GA

Schedule: Full-time project-based role; travel may be required based on project needs

Type: Contract / project-based


Responsibilities:

- Lead and support commissioning activities for complex electrical, mechanical, controls, and/or mission-critical systems

- Develop, review, and execute commissioning plans, scripts, checklists, functional tests, and integrated systems testing documentation

- Coordinate with project teams, owners, contractors, vendors, and field personnel to drive commissioning milestones

- Troubleshoot field issues, document deficiencies, track punch-list items, and support resolution through turnover

- Support quality, safety, schedule, and technical compliance during startup, testing, and handoff phases


Requirements:

- Commissioning engineering experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, oil and gas, industrial, or similar complex environments

- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, controls, power, or process systems commissioning

- Experience with commissioning documentation, test scripts, issue logs, functional performance testing, and turnover packages

- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams and communicate clearly in field environments

- Comfort traveling or supporting projects across the U.S. as needed

- Professional, detail-oriented, safety-minded, and able to complete any required project onboarding requirements
