Job description

This entry-level position is located in Andrews, TX and ensures the safe and quality fabrication of our tanks and wastewater products before shipment to our customers.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
  • Three years of verifiable work history preferred.
  • Must be able to work overtime & shift work as required.
  • Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required.  
  • Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations.
  • Factory environment with large range in temperature changes.
  • Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.
  • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operates fiberglass chop gun.
  • Assists chop gun operator with tasks.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
  • Utilize safe work habits. 
  • Wear appropriate PPE.
  • Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
