Entry-Level Billing Specialist

Location: Coppell, TX — Fully In Office
Pay Rate: $21/hour
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

About the Opportunity

We are looking for an entry-level Billing Specialist who is eager to learn, enjoys working with numbers, and is looking to build a career in billing, invoicing, contracts, and financial operations.

No previous billing or invoicing experience is required. We are open to recent high school or college graduates, early-career professionals, and students looking to gain valuable professional experience.

The most important qualities are a strong work ethic, attention to detail, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.

  • Analyze data and identify discrepancies or missing information
  • Learn and apply different billing methods based on individual projects
  • Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
  • Communicate with internal teams to research and resolve billing questions
  • Assist with data entry, reporting, and other accounting-related projects
  • Follow established billing procedures while learning new processes
  • Transition between different projects and billing requirements as needed

What We're Looking For

  • No prior billing or invoicing experience required
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
  • Comfortable working with numbers and data
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Able to identify discrepancies and ask questions when something doesn't look right
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Dependable and willing to take initiative
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel is helpful but not required

Why This Is a Great Entry-Level Opportunity

This isn't simply a data-entry or invoice-generation position. You'll learn how contracts, project requirements, data, and billing processes come together to create accurate customer invoices.

Every project can have a different billing structure, so you'll have the opportunity to learn multiple billing methods and develop strong analytical and financial skills.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get their foot in the door, gain professional experience, and build a long-term career in accounting, billing, finance, or operations.

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

The position is fully in office in the Coppell/Grapevine area.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who may not have all the answers yet but is excited to learn. If you enjoy working with numbers, are naturally curious, pay attention to details, and want an opportunity to develop your skills, this could be an excellent opportunity to start your career.
