CHARGE RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST | FULL-TIME OPPORTUNITYJOB OVERVIEW

Seeking a skilled and motivated Charge Radiology Technologist to join a leading healthcare organization. POSITION DETAILS
  • Position Title: Charge Radiology Technologist
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Schedule: Four 10-Hour Shifts Per Week

REQUIREMENTS
  • Education meeting radiologic certification and licensure requirements
  • Active Oregon Radiographer License or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification within 180 days of hire
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification upon hire
  • New graduates must obtain permanent Oregon licensure within six months of hire
  • Strong technical imaging skills and knowledge of radiation safety principles
  • Ability to lead workflow and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform radiographic imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining ALARA radiation safety standards
  • Coordinate daily imaging workflow and department operations during assigned shifts
  • Assist with staff training, mentoring, and onboarding activities
  • Address equipment concerns and coordinate maintenance issues when necessary
  • Support patient care by utilizing proper positioning techniques and imaging protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Monitor compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
  • Promote a positive team environment focused on quality and patient-centered care

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous radiologic imaging experience preferred
  • Experience working in hospital or acute care environments
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
