Job description

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center seeks a BC/BE orthopedic hand surgeon to join a highly regarded hospital practice in Bangor, Maine.
Position Highlights:
• We offer a unique balance of exciting and diverse hand, wrist and elbow surgery
• There is a high volume of common and complex hand and wrist pathology
• There is the ability to develop an elbow practice if desired
• Join two hand surgeons as well as two hand trained plastic surgeons and have collaborative support from the orthopedic trauma group
• Enjoy a clinically oriented and efficient practice. The position offers the convenience of a single campus where the patients come to you
• Hand call is evolving but will ultimately be shared by 4-6 hand surgeons with physician associate support. As the upper extremity specialty grows, hand call will likely reduce from 1:4 to 1:6. Primary hand call is highly manageable in this community
Compensation Information:
• $617,601.00 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on productivity.
• The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position. The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.
