Pediatric Consultation Center and Associates is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Testing Technician to join our clinical team in Deerfield, Illinois. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate interested in psychology, child development, neuropsychology, education, or a related field.
Patients are referred with a variety of concerns; referrals are made to evaluate for ASD, ADHD, behavioral and emotional problems, developmental delay, or learning disorder with and without known underlying medical factors. Many referrals are complex or hospital/psychiatric referrals.
PCCA obtains referrals from pediatricians, psychiatrists, and other health professionals. Many families return for re-evaluations, as we follow their progress medically, therapeutically, or academically. Collaboration with school districts as well as special education attorneys following a neuropsychological evaluation to assist in developing 504 Plans and IEP’s is also a component.
Staff at PCCA enjoy an active, supportive, and collegial environment with frequent interaction among colleagues and clinicians.
The Testing Technician will assist licensed clinicians with the administration and scoring of standardized psychological, developmental, and educational assessments for children and adolescents. Paid training and ongoing supervision and didactics are provided.
