Description:

The Jr. Network Technician will serve as a main contact for low to medium complexity technology issues and support the company by supporting user needs, installing and configuring Heeter’s network infrastructure, including hardware components, cabling, and network software.


NOTE: Position is perfect for an entry level candidate. 100% in-person position, candidates outside of Pittsburgh, PA will not be considered.

  • Provide technical support to co-workers through a HelpDesk system.
  • Set up new employee workstations.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, configure, install network hardware components and cables to ensure secure operations.
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks to ensure long-term network efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other members of the IT team and management.
  • Perform necessary upgrades to the network infrastructure as needed.
  • Monitor system service agreements.
  • Improve system performance by identifying problems; recommend changes.
