Professionals in this role typically monitor network traffic, assist in setting up firewalls, respond to security incidents, and help maintain the integrity and confidentiality of data. They work under the supervision of more experienced security staff and may also help with security audits, basic troubleshooting, and user education. This position is ideal for recent graduates or those new to the IT security field who are looking to build foundational skills and advance to more specialized roles.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an entry level network security professional?
