Purpose

The Revenue Specialist I is an entry-level, hands-on role responsible for reconciling and analyzing usage data to ensure that HC3 bills clients appropriately and in a timely manner. This role contributes to the company's financial well-being and operational efficiency by providing tactical daily support to help ensure the smooth functioning of the Accounting department and the organization as a whole.


Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Prepare and generate accurate client invoices.
  • Ensure client billing information and payment method is accurate for each client.
  • Monitor client AR and follow collections process to ensure clients are within payment terms.
  • Cross-train within the Revenue team and assist with special projects or other tasks as needed.

Competencies and Qualities

  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Highly organized with the ability to adjust priorities in order to meet deadlines
  • Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
  • Knowledge of general financial accounting
  • Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
Requirements:

Education, Experience, and Certifications


Required

  • High school diploma
  • Basic math skills

Preferred

  • Accounting skills
  • Experience with NetSuite or other large ERP system
  • Experience using Microsoft

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.


Work Environment

Work will be performed in the HC3 office in Irondale, Alabama.


Travel

This position requires little to no travel. This role may be required to occasionally travel to an HC3 office for quarterly team meetings.


Physical Demand

This role will require sitting or standing while using a computer for long periods of time.


Position Type and Expected Hours

This is a full-time position for five, eight-hour days (at least 40 hours) per week.
