We are seeking a skilled Electrical Journeyman to join our growing team. In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems while ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Compensation:

$35 - $36 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems, equipment, and controls.

  • Install, maintain, and test raceway systems, including conduit and cable tray.

  • Diagnose and repair motors, motor controls, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution equipment.

  • Install and program variable frequency drives (VFDs), soft starters, panelboards, and related electrical components.

  • Pull, terminate, and test electrical wiring, feeders, and branch circuits.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical specifications.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.

  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, conduit benders, threaders, tuggers, and other specialized equipment.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company policies and OSHA safety regulations.

  • Travel to job sites as required and perform other duties as assigned.

  • This position is safety-sensitive.


Qualifications:
  • Compensation is based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
  • Must possess a valid Electrical Journeyman License or have the ability to obtain one as required.
  • Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), electrical systems, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency with electrical hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel out of town during the workweek as project needs require.
  • OSHA 10 certification is preferred and required after hire if not currently held.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
