The Role
Abrasive Blasters will be trained in surface preparation techniques by operation blast equipment designed to create an optimal profile on steel structures, ensuring proper adhesion of coating treatments to metal surfaces. Training will cover the use, maintenance, and safe operation of company-provided blast equipment.
Abrasive Blasters should be able to learn and perform blast operations safely in various environments, including tanks and voids, as well as elevated heights using staging, scaffolding, and lifting equipment such as hoists and scissor lifts.

Must Have
Must be able to take measurements or be willing to learn.
Must be able to perform kneeling, squatting, crawling, bending, stooping, and climbing on a daily basis.
Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
This job may require overhead work.
Must be able to be clean shaven to wear a respirator.
Must be able to perform work outdoors, year- round, in all weather conditions.
Must be able to work at extreme heights.
Must be able to work in small, tight, confined spaces.
Must be able to work any shift to accommodate production needs.
