Job Summary:
The QA Analyst will work as part of a team responsible for testing and verifying complex IWMS applications and supporting products. This entry-level position will assist with manual testing, AI-assisted automated test creation, and validation of software functionality based on business and technical requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn modern QA practices, and comfortable leveraging AI-enabled development and testing tools to accelerate testing efforts and improve quality.
Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Execute manual test plans and document testing results for web and mobile applications.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining automated test scripts using AI-assisted development tools and frameworks.
  • Leverage AI-enabled IDEs and testing platforms to accelerate test case generation, automation development, and defect analysis.
  • Validate new functionality against product specifications and acceptance criteria provided by Product Management and Development teams.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog reviews.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA team members to troubleshoot issues and improve product quality.
  • Learn and contribute to continuous integration and automated testing workflows.
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation related to testing activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management or team lead.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Familiarity with software testing concepts and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled IDEs and AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Replit, GitHub Copilot, Kiro, or similar platforms.
  • Interest in leveraging AI tools to accelerate testing, automation, and productivity workflows.
  • Basic understanding of automated testing concepts and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with web technologies and browser-based applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact positively and effectively in a distributed team environment.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts and the ability to effectively interact with AI tools to generate accurate and repeatable results.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Internship, coursework, bootcamp, or personal project experience related to software testing, software development, or automation is preferred.
  • Exposure to software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile development methodologies is preferred.

Preferred education and experience:
  • Exposure to Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar programming languages.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
  • Basic SQL and relational database knowledge (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server).
  • Familiarity with source control systems such as Git.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Mobile application testing exposure.
  • Familiarity with Docker or container-based development environments.
