Policrom, Inc. is seeking a motivated Machine Operator Trainee to join our production team. This is an entry-level position designed to train and prepare you to operate a variety of converting equipment used in the graphic communication and printing industries.

At Policrom, we convert bulk film products into finished goods—such as sheets or smaller rolls—through cutting, trimming, packaging, and shipping. As a trainee, you will gain hands-on experience with industry-specific equipment and processes essential to our operations.

What You’ll Learn and Do:
As a Machine Operator Trainee, you will be trained in:

  • Operating converting equipment, including sheeting, slitting, and rewinding machines

  • Using trimming and cutting tools to prepare products to customer specifications

  • Packaging and wrapping finished goods for shipment

  • Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (forklift certification provided)

  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including basic equipment and plant maintenance

  • Manual preparation techniques for various product types

Qualifications:

  • No prior experience required—training will be provided

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 lbs

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
