About The Opportunity

The General Laborer supports manufacturing operations by assisting with machine setup, material handling, and production across multiple departments. This role involves feeding materials into equipment, stacking finished products, and preparing items for shipment while ensuring quality standards are met. Employees are cross-trained in various areas and may operate equipment such as balers, unitizers, or downstackers. The position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety in a fast-paced environment.
General Labor & Machine Assistants (Entry-Level - Paid Training)

Pay Rate: Pay increases as you train and qualify in different departments

  • Training Rate: $24.52/hour
  • Qualified Rate: $25.58/hour

Work Schedule:
Day and night shift opportunities available

  • 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • 2-2-3 rotating schedule

Entry Level - Will Train
No experience required. Training is provided, with the opportunity to become forklift certified.

Position Overview

The general labor supports operations across multiple departments to help produce high-quality corrugated packaging products. This role involves working closely with machine operators, handling materials, and ensuring products meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist machine operators with setup and material handling
  • Remove and stack corrugated sheets from production equipment
  • Feed materials into automated machinery
  • Band and prepare finished products for shipment
  • Support departments including Die Cut, Corrugator, and Joining
  • Operate equipment such as unitizers, balers, and downstackers
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Complete required production paperwork and load ticketing
  • Provide support across departments as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work safely in a safety-sensitive environment
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as needed
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
