DEPARTMENT: Digital Media
REPORTS TO: Digital Content Manager
STATUS: Hourly, Seasonal

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Digital Content Seasonal Assistant to support our Digital Content Manager in executing day-to-day content distribution across our key digital platforms—YouTube, the official website, and the official mobile app—while helping maintain strong SEO and publishing best practices. This role is designed to keep content workflows organized, accurate, on-schedule, and optimized for performance across platforms. This role does not report to the Social Media Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Publishing & Distribution Support

  • Assist with distributing content across all digital platforms, ensuring posts and uploads align with brand guidelines and standards.
  • Support publishing workflows for the official website and app via the CMS/backend system (formatting, placement, QA checks, and updates).
  • Partner with internal creative & production teams to ensure content is prepared and packaged for distribution (titles, descriptions, sizing, deliverable readiness).
  • Coordinate closely with the social media team to ensure content is shared and promoted effectively across channels.
  • Maintain and update the content publishing calendar, supporting the team with accurate scheduling and platform-specific timing recommendations.

YouTube & Video Optimization Assistance

  • Assist with YouTube channel operations, including upload preparation, publishing checks, metadata accuracy, and basic optimization tasks.
  • Support video and thumbnail optimization by assisting with edits, formatting, exporting, and QA to ensure platform readiness.

SEO & Metadata Support

  • Support SEO optimization across platforms by assisting with keyword research, metadata entry, and content updates aligned to SEO best practices.
  • Help maintain consistency and accuracy in headlines, descriptions, tags, and on-page elements to improve search visibility.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–2+ years of experience (internship, seasonal, or entry-level) supporting digital content publishing, social, video, or web operations.
  • Familiarity with YouTube channel publishing workflows and/or platform best practices.
  • Experience working in a website CMS/backend system (publishing, updating pages, formatting, QA).
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals (keywords, metadata, trends, and optimization basics).
  • Strong organizational/project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible and non-traditional hours including weeknights, weekends and holidays during the NFL season as needed.

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Adobe Creative Suite familiarity (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects) for light editing, resizing, exports, and thumbnail prep.
  • Understanding of copyright management tools and/or YouTube Content ID concepts.
  • Basic web standards knowledge (HTML/CSS).
  • Interest or exposure to creator collaborations and YouTube ecosystem dynamics.
