Job description

Job Summary and Qualifications

This position entails transporting patients on stretchers through the hospital. This role may involve occasionally helping clinical staff move patients to the transport bed. 

It is a great entry-level position for those that want to learn about a hospital setting and see first-hand what other positions entail such as nursing, imaging, and more! 

Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for the safe movement of patients, related equipment and charts from one location to another throughout the hospital. Ensures a safe movement of patients to and from beds to wheelchairs or stretchers by using appropriate safe patient techniques.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Required License: BLS Required
  • Preferred Experience: Some experience in a customer service capacity
