Job Title: Entry-Level Guillotine Cutter Operator - Printing & Manufacturing
Location: Raliegh NC
Schedule: Full-time, Hourly Non-Exempt

Job Summary

Looking to grow your career in manufacturing and print production? We're hiring an Entry-Level Guillotine Cutter Operator to join our fast-paced team! As part of the printing and bindery operations, you'll learn how to set up and operate industrial guillotine cutting machines, prepare and align printed materials, and ensure high-quality products are delivered on time. This is a hands-on role where you'll gain valuable skills in equipment operation, troubleshooting, and quality control while working in a supportive environment.

What You'll Do
  • Learn to set up and operate guillotine cutters under supervision.

  • Review job tickets and confirm specifications for each project.

  • Cut and align printed sheets using a guillotine cutter to meet customer and production standards.

  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure quality and minimize waste.

  • Record production runs and update the MIS system.

  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.

  • Work alongside and support senior Cutter Operators while expanding your skills.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

What We're Looking For
  • High School diploma or GED required.

  • At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, printing, or machine operation preferred.

  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning guillotine cutting equipment.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality.

  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods.

  • Basic computer and math skills.

  • Team player with good communication skills.
