Claims Support Specialist

Lexington, KY (Onsite)

6-Month Contract | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Pay: $15-$16/hour

TEKsystems is partnering with Erie Insurance to hire a Claims Support Specialist for their Lexington, KY office. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build experience in customer service, administration, and the insurance industry with a company known for its stability, employee-focused culture, and long-term growth.

What You'll Do
  • Answer incoming calls from policyholders, claimants, agents, and adjusters
  • Provide exceptional customer service and direct inquiries to the appropriate parties
  • Enter new claims and update claim information within company systems
  • Prepare, process, and maintain claims-related documentation
  • Assist with filing, scanning, copying, mail distribution, and other administrative activities
  • Support claims professionals with follow-up activities and claim file maintenance
  • Welcome and direct visitors as needed
  • Assist with office coordination and general support functions
Qualifications
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced office environment
  • Comfortable handling phone-based customer interactions
