Entry-Level Structured Cabling Technician

Employment Type: Long Term, Full-Time

Looking to get started in a hands-on technical career? We’re hiring Entry-Level Structured Cabling Technicians to join a growing team supporting commercial projects across the Charleston area. No advanced experience is required — paid training is provided.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in technology, networking, or construction who wants steady work, career growth, and real-world technical experience. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians installing cabling and supporting communication systems in schools, hospitals, and commercial buildings.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with installing and routing CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optic cabling
  • Support mounting and replacement of wireless access points and network devices
  • Learn cable termination for jacks, patch panels, and low-voltage systems
  • Help technicians read project layouts and basic blueprints
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
  • Use hand tools and ladders while working in commercial environments
  • Support project completion timelines through teamwork and reliability
  • Follow company safety procedures and customer site requirements

QualificationsRequired
  • Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on environment
