Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand clients' history, needs, and therapy goals.
  • Facilitate live video therapy sessions, providing weekly evidence-based care to adults dealing with a variety of emotional and mental health disorders.
  • Utilize video conferencing software to establish rapport and effectively engage clients, helping them navigate their challenges.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments, continually assessing clients' progress and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Employ crisis intervention strategies when necessary, ensuring clients receive timely support during critical moments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive care and integrated services for clients.
  • Document client interactions thoroughly in compliance with ethical standards and regulations, while ensuring confidentiality.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
  • An active, unrestricted LMFT license in Washington State.
  • A minimum of three years of professional experience providing therapy within a marriage and family context.
  • Proficiency in utilizing computers and telehealth technology; prior experience in telemedicine is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with clients in a virtual environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with diverse populations in various settings, including community clinics or hospitals.
  • Knowledge of and experience with evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Solution-Focused Therapy.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage crises and provide immediate interventions to clients in distress.
  • Familiarity with integrating psychosocial factors into the treatment of emotional and behavioral disorders.
