City of Hope Marriage & Family Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in Bremerton, Washington. This full-time position offers the flexibility of working remotely while serving a diverse client population in our community health clinic. Key Responsibilities

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at City of Hope, you will work with a varied client base, including individuals, couples, children, and families facing a range of challenges. Clients may struggle with relational issues, behavioral problems, and mental health disorders. The role emphasizes an integrated approach, particularly in addressing the complexities of chronic pain and trauma, allowing you to make a significant impact on clients' lives.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
  • A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to practice in Washington.
  • At least two years of experience providing mental health services, ideally within a health-related setting.
  • Strong understanding of privacy regulations and ethical guidelines concerning patient care.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication to effectively counsel clients and document treatment progress.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in working with clients dealing with chronic pain and/or trauma.
