A growing South Granville company is searching for an Entry-Level MIG / FCAW Welder to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with welding experience who is ready to learn and expand their skills in a professional and safe fabrication environment.
Working alongside an experienced Welder / Fabricator, you'll learn advanced fabrication techniques while helping build high-quality steel structures and components. If you're dependable, eager to learn, and take pride in your work, we'd love to connect.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6A-2:30 Overtime as production demands
Pay Rate: $16 - $20/ Hour
What You'll do:
  • Perform MIG and FCAW welding on steel components
  • Assist experienced Welders/Fabricators with production and fabrication projects including plasma cutting, torch cutting, band saw, drill press, and grinders.
  • Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and production drawings
  • Measure, fit, tack, and weld parts to specifications
  • Learn fabrication techniques for structural steel and metal assemblies
  • Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

What we look for Entry Level Fabricator:
  • Two or more years of experience in metal fabrication or welding certification from a technical school.
  • Basic math
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
  • Ability to read blueprints is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Dependability, excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
