Job Description:

Salute is looking for a Logistics Manager to join our world-class team. The best candidates will have experience of working in a similar role where they are familiar with supply chain and logistical best practices. Most importantly, you must be willing to do whatever it takes to make our team successful on any day. You must like being extremely busy, active, and working with people in a variety of roles.


The Logistics Manager will be responsible for safely and quickly receiving shipments of new fully loaded racks, decommissioning old racks, movement of devices/racks into and out of critical spaces, usage of hand and power tools to properly install the racks, conducting inventories and audits of materials, and installing devices and or cabling in racks. This is an entry level position and acts as a foot in the door into the data center industry with boundless possibilities for growth.



Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, receive, and document deliveries ranging from UPS and FedEx packages to multi-truck, dedicated shipments requiring heavy equipment to offload.  
  • Pack and ship equipment as necessary
  • Utilize a variety of systems in the daily processes of receipts, shipments, and inventory management.
  • Maintain a safe, very organized and clean loading dock and staging area.
  • Evaluate the condition of receipts and coordinate any follow-up actions should there be damage.  
  • Order and stock office and breakroom supplies  
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to be great at your job.  

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in shipping and receiving department or warehouse position for at least 3 years.  
  • The ability to execute manual tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.  
  • Experience using equipment typical to a role like this including powered forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, packaging tools and materials, etc.  

Physical & Environmental:


  • Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working in warehouse/loading dock environments
  • May require extended periods of standing, bending, or walking
  • Must be able to work safely around material handling equipment and power tools


Work Conditions:


  • Full-time shift schedule (may include early starts or rotating weekends depending on operations)
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
  • Must adhere to all site-specific safety and security protocols
  • Will be required to wear PPE (steel-toe boots, vest, hard hat, gloves, etc.) as needed


Site Location: We operate a 24-hour facility where work hours (shifts) are assigned as needed to ensure job functions are performed satisfactorily, compliance is maintained, and the company operates efficiently. Certain positions, as specified in your offer letter, may require working irregular hours, such as nights, weekends, overtime, alternating shifts, and under various conditions, including outdoor work during extreme weather or in hazardous environments.

Compensation & Benefits Disclosure

The hourly rate for this role is $65,000-$75,000 per year. This range reflects a good‑faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire, based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and market/location. Our comprehensive benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), gym discount, mental health, Discounted Group Life & AD&D, Discounted Group Short & Long-term Disability, 401(k) retirement matching, PTO/paid holidays, and parental leave. This posted hourly rate is the final rate of pay for the position, based on job‑related factors consistent with applicable law.
