Safety Manager | Meta Data Center Project

Los Lunas, New Mexico

Ready to take the lead on safety for a fast-paced, mission-critical data-center project?

We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to support work at a Meta data center in Los Lunas, New Mexico. This is an immediate opportunity offering excellent earning potential, substantial weekly hours, and valuable experience on a high-profile technology project.

Project Scope

You will oversee field safety for mission-critical technology infrastructure, including:

  • Structured cabling systems

  • Audio-visual and video installations

  • Electronic physical-security systems

  • Wireless infrastructure

  • Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)

  • Active data-center construction activities

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily safety operations across active project areas

  • Conduct jobsite inspections, audits, and hazard assessments

  • Enforce site-specific safety policies and OSHA requirements

  • Review JHAs, JSAs, and pre-task planning documentation

  • Facilitate safety orientations, toolbox talks, and field training

  • Monitor subcontractors and crews for compliance with established safety procedures

  • Identify unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are completed

  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns

  • Maintain accurate safety reports, inspection records, and training documentation

  • Partner with project leadership to maintain a proactive, field-driven safety culture

Required Qualifications
  • Active BCSP certification is required

  • OSHA 30 certification is required

  • At least 3 years of professional construction-safety experience

  • Previous data-center project experience is required

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and high-risk work activities

  • Ability to work 60+ hours per week

  • Ability to mobilize to Los Lunas and begin as soon as possible

  • Strong communication, leadership, documentation, and corrective-action follow-through

Compensation
  • $54-$56 per hour

  • $155 per diem

  • 60+ expected hours per week

  • 1099 contract

  • Initial duration of 2+ months
