Contracts Management Analyst - ANM1 - Entry Level
Contingent upon Customer Approval
Purpose:
  • Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for Contracts Management Analyst - ANM1 - Entry Level to support Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) and/or Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) programs.
  • This role is in Arlington, VA.
  • The selected candidate will provide program and contract management support while developing experience within a Department of Defense acquisition environment.

Job Description:
  • Assist with contract and program management activities supporting RAM program requirements.
  • Support tracking of contractual actions, program milestones, schedules, deliverables, and action items.
  • Assist with reviewing and maintaining contract and program documentation.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, briefings, correspondence, and other program documentation.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze program information to support customer reporting requirements.
  • Assist with program meetings, reviews, and working groups, including preparation of meeting materials and tracking action items.
  • Coordinate with program management, contracts, finance, engineering, logistics, and other functional organizations.
  • Maintain program records and assist with data calls and recurring reporting requirements.
  • Support senior analysts and program personnel with research and analysis as required.
  • Develop knowledge of DoD acquisition, contracting, and Navy weapon system program processes.

Qualifications:
  • Entry-level position; previous professional experience is not required.
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must have valid US Driver's License.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Contract Management, Acquisition Management, or a related field, preferred.
  • Internship or previous experience within a government, military, defense contracting, or professional business environment, preferred.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense or government contracting processes, preferred.
  • Experience using Excel for data tracking and analysis, preferred.

Security Requirements:
  • Must have an Active Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain.

Travel Requirements:
  • Minimal travel-less than 10%
  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Able to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
