Job description

Description
The Facility Tech is an entry level position for the 2nd shift. They will perform general labor and maintenance for assigned equipment and facilities. This role will report directly to the Facility Supervisor and work on-site at our facility in Riverbank, Ca.

Responsibilities
• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
• Assist in special projects or operation task.
• Trained to use small tools and equipment.
• Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
• Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
• Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
• Inventory count; supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
• Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must be at least 21 years old. 
 
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, climb, stretch, and lift up to 50 pounds. Requires the manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment and hand tools.
 
Work Environment: 
This position involves a fair amount of manual labor which requires repetitive tasks. This position operates indoors, which can reach different temperatures. This position may require working at heights up to or exceeding 10 feet. The Cultivation Department operates on weekends and holidays, and standard work hours may apply regardless of day or season.
