The Company:
Our client is a private practice in Bayonne, New Jersey. Practicing physician brings a fresh, modern approach to medicine combined with extensive clinical training. The practice is committed to providing exceptional patient care while helping patients achieve long-term health and wellness.
Our Client Offers
  • $20.00 - $25.00 Per Hour Depending on Experience
  • 2 Weeks of Paid Vacation

Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Medical Biller to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing medical claims, managing insurance billing, and ensuring timely reimbursement while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
Additional responsibilities include:
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Submit electronic and paper insurance claims accurately and timely.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
  • Follow up on unpaid, denied, or rejected claims.
  • Post insurance and patient payments.
  • Review accounts receivable and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and appeals.
  • Maintain accurate patient billing records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all billing regulations.
  • Assist with other administrative duties as needed.

Requirements
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Biller who is committed to accuracy, professionalism, and outstanding customer service.
Qualifications include:
  • Previous experience as a Medical Biller or in a medical office billing role preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical billing, insurance claims, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding concepts preferred.
  • Experience working with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
