Division: Athletics Department: Sports Information Experience: Entry-level

Job Code: FWSPINFOAST Supervisor/Reports To: Cheryl Gilbert

Start Date: 8/25/2026

Assist with game-day media operations including statistics, photography, live streaming, and public address. Ideal for students with an interest in sports communication, broadcasting, and media production.

Responsibilities and Career Competencies:

  1. Assist with games statistics - C, T, CT
  2. Take pictures at games for UPIKEbears.com - T, P, C
  3. Public address announcing at select sports - C, P, TW
  4. Run cameras for live streams of select sports - T, P, CT

Competencies/Skills: Career & Self Development (CSD), Communication (C), Critical Thinking (CT), Community Transformation (CTR), Leadership (L), Professionalism (P), Teamwork (TW), Technology (T)

Preferred Skills: Computer knowledge (Word, Social Media & New Technology), basic athletics knowledge, attention to detail, public speaking, written & verbal communication, willingness to learn new things.

Work Schedule: Saturday-Sunday: Varies depending on workload and home game schedules. Work hours can be flexible to accommodate student class schedules.
