Job description

Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 85 years. A commitment to teamwork and quality has made us one of the top turkey, hog and egg companies in the U.S. and awarded the company and its team an excellent reputation. Our Van Wert Cooked Meats Plant in Van Wert County, Ohio creates, cooks, and slices some of the highest quality deli products on the market for brands you know and trust. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 3rd shift Sanitation Associate to join our team in Van Wert.

SHIFT HOURS: Sunday through Friday 11:00pm-6:30am

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $20.00 with the potential of increasing to $20.65 after 90 days

ADDITIONAL PAY:Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing all production equipment, machinery, conveyors, and floors
  • Being responsible for labeling, mixing, handling and proper usage of cleaning chemicals.
  • Emptying all trash containers.
  • Wearing all required PPE and rotate with other team members as directed.
