  • Document current-state and future-state business processes, including steel construction workflows that connect estimating, detailing, fabrication, field installation, safety, quality, and project controls.
  • Translate operational requirements into clear functional specifications, workplans, success metrics, and implementation steps for technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

  • Develop and support implementation plans, training materials, user guides, SOPs, quick-reference documents, and adoption strategies in partnership with change management and business leaders.
  • Engage with jobsites and operational teams to validate assumptions, pilot solutions, gather lessons learned, and ensure system improvements are practical, field-informed, and scalable across the enterprise.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and consultants on support escalations, implementations, upgrades, integrations, and issue resolution; track assigned work through closure.
  • Travel as needed to jobsites, fabrication facilities, or other company locations to support implementations, train end users, observe workflows, and troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, Analytics, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in data, reporting, systems analysis, application support, business process improvement, or a related role; internships, co-ops, and relevant project work may count toward entry-level experience.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to clarify ambiguity, identify root causes, and translate findings into practical recommendations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with field teams, operations leaders, technical resources, and external partners.
  • Experience supporting or administering ERP, CRM, reporting, project management, or other enterprise applications, including user access, roles, configuration, troubleshooting, and data validation.
  • Ability to document requirements, support user acceptance testing, create SOPs and knowledge articles, and communicate changes effectively to office, fabrication, and field audiences.
  • Familiarity with construction, fabrication, steel erection, project controls, or field operations is preferred.
  • General understanding of how business applications, reporting tools, automation, and support systems can be used to improve workflows, strengthen processes, and support better operational decision-making is preferred.
