Description:
Position Purpose
Accountable for leading, managing and advancing people, processes and/or programs that support patient care. Responsible for providing leadership, oversight, alignment, and standardization for assigned Pharmacy area/business line.
What you will do
  • Provide leadership and accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes
  • Collaborate with Pharmacy leaders, medical staff, and healthcare team to develop strategy, goals, objectives, and operational standards to ensure services and priority alignment
  • Identify analytics and metrics to demonstrate baseline and performance improvement targets
  • Support medication safety measures and efficient operational processes, business development, revenue integrity, and 340B program activities
  • Support training, education, coaching, and assessment of pharmacist competencies
  • Support optimization of procurement and distribution processes
  • Ensure colleagues are assigned to work areas to achieve established standards for operational support

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and three (3) years of pharmacist experience or 1 year of pharmacist experience and 1 year Pharmacy Practice Residency. Advanced or Master's degree preferred (e.g., PharmD, MBA)
  • MA or CT Pharmacist license in good standing or the ability to obtain state licensure within 120 days of hire
  • Leadership skills motivating and empowering staff. Preferred experience working in an organization of comparable size and complexity, preferably in healthcare

Position Highlights and Benefits

Salary Range: $122,000 - 192,000
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.
