We are currently seeking motivated colleagues to contribute to meaningful work in our local manufacturing plants. Our entry level positions perform meaningful work and includes exposure to advancing technologies, having a voice to challenge our status quo, and training for career advancement.
We offer on the job training to start you on your journey with Bayer!
Our Indianola location operates on a 3 eight hour shift schedule. First Shift: 6am-2:20pm, 2nd Shift: 2pm - 10:20pm, 3rd Shift: 10pm - 6:20am, Monday through Friday.
We also offer a breadth of benefits, included (but not limited to) 120 hours of vacation, 128 hours of holiday time, 40 hours sick time, full medical/dental/vision, educational assistance, annual bonus and MORE!
Pay is $16.00 per hour. This position also has up to a 5% yearly bonus.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A day in the life of a Manufacturing Associate includes:
  • Assembling of radiology medical products that are used to diagnose health care challenges when contrast is used for CT scans;
  • Thoughtful packaging of products to ensure our high quality standards are maintained;
  • Inspection and validation of excellent manufacturing;
  • Cross training to enhance skillset and support the shift team;
  • Being a team player in collaborating with others to enhance our capabilities, problem solve challenges identified and retain a clean & safe work environment;
  • Capturing data regarding product quality and traceability;
  • Leading with safety, quality and delivering for our customers as our guiding principles.

WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications
  • Active interest in operating in a team environment, learning daily and partnering with others to enhance our operations via open communication;
  • Comfortable with entry level math skills (adding/subtracting), reading and processing information;
  • Interested in working in a lively environment, operating with good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail;
  • Proven sound judgment, continuous improvement, and customer focus;

An appetite for personal growth.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience a plus;
  • Computer savvy.
