The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Financial Specialist (NH-0501-03) to work for the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the M-Code Aviation Receivers Joint Program Office (AFLCMC/ESC) at Los Angeles Air Force Base, CA.

Qualifications/Requirements:
In this role, you will serve as a Financial Specialist performing a variety of duties including budget formulation, preparing information for budget presentations, providing financial advice on complex issues, and conducting financial and cost reviews to determine resource requirements.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
This is a drug testing designated position.
This position is covered by the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) and requires the ability to meet Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements.
APDP Business-Financial Management (BUS-FM) Practitioner Certification is required.
This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position.
Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station.
Key Job-Related Skills:
Budget Formulation: Perform budget formulation work involving the preparation of detailed analysis and estimates for funding needs.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial and cost reviews to determine resource requirements based on actual and forecast workload.
Advisory Services: Provide financial advice on complex financial issues and the assessment of implementing decisions.
Reporting Presentation: Prepare and assemble information in support of formal presentations of budgets and requests.
