Job description

Overview

We are seeking motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associates-Entry Level to join our team in a fast-paced flexographic printing, laminating, and converting facility. This is a hands-on role designed to introduce candidates to our manufacturing process; this could include but is not limited to Press, Laminating, Slitting and Bag Making Equipment. Willingness to learn, and commitment to producing high-quality products for our customers is required. We invest in training new team members and provide opportunities for advancement as skills grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support operations across multiple departments, including:
    • Flexographic Printing Presses
    • Ink
    • Mounting
    • Laminating
    • Slitting
    • Bag-Making Equipment
  • Load and unload raw materials, rolls, and finished goods.
  • Monitor machines for proper operation.
  • Prepare and clean work areas, equipment, and tools.
  • Learn basic machine adjustments under supervision.

Quality & Safety

  • Perform visual inspections to verify print quality, color accuracy, registration, lamination bond strength, and slit accuracy.
  • Follow all safety rules and procedures within manufacturing, including PPE requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to production runs.
  • Help ensure products meet customer specifications and all quality standards.
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly cleaning and check lists.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical equipment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude are a must.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred (not required)

  • Experience in manufacturing or machine operation.
  • Exposure to printing or packaging facilities.

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to inks, solvents, adhesives, noise, and moving machinery.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hair net, facial hair cover, safety shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection.
