Job description

For almost 30 years, SQA Services has been a premier leader in the provision of managed supplier quality services for audits, assessments, remote surveillance assessments, corrective actions, remediation, inspections, and engineering to manufacturers within all industries. We deliver services by deploying associates who are located throughout the United States and in 90+ countries around the world to your supplier sites. Our associates are expert quality assurance professionals with broad experience and local knowledge who can represent our clients on-demand and on-site faster than our competitors.
 
We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector for a 10-month, full-time contract position within the aerospace industry. This role is based in Wichita, Kansas, a global hub for aircraft manufacturing and aerospace innovation.
 
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring that aerospace components consistently meet rigorous standards for quality and safety. We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and advance within the industry. Once you join our team, you will be deployed through SQA's operations center based on client needs and supplier production schedules, providing dynamic opportunities for professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with work instructions
  • Identify and address quality issues, collaborating with other departments as needed
  • Quality inspection of products
  • Collaborate with team members
Required Qualifications:
  • An eye for quality
  • A strong focus on safety and adherence to safety protocols
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed and support third shift with flexibility to support 1st or 2nd shift where needed
  • A positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a genuine eagerness to learn
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check
  • Must be ITAR-compliant
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A military background is highly valued but not mandatory
  • Previous experience in industrial manufacturing is a strong plus

$25 - $29 an hour
Mileage reimbursement ($0.67 per mile.) Untaxed. 100-mile cap per day.
