Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our Remote Outpatient Team at the Social Trauma Therapy Center. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in individual and family therapy to provide tailored treatment that empowers clients on their journey towards recovery, personal growth, and improved mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health needs and design effective treatment plans tailored to their specific challenges.
  • Provide individualized therapy sessions, leading both in-person and virtual sessions to promote client well-being and engagement in their healing process.
  • Establish collaborative therapeutic goals with clients and regularly monitor their progress to foster accountability and motivation.
  • Engage in regular staff meetings and supervision sessions to share insights, seek guidance, and enhance your clinical practice through collaborative learning.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation to uphold ethical standards and fulfill legal requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of innovative therapeutic techniques, contemporary practices, and trends in mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • A current, valid license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
  • Two or more years of full-time counseling experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices and client engagement.
  • Experience working with couples, children, teens, and families, particularly in modalities that address the intricacies of cultural diversity and identity.
Preferred Experience
  • Training in trauma-informed care and techniques.
  • Experience implementing evidence-based practices within therapeutic settings.
  • A track record of positive client outcomes in delivering therapy to diverse populations.
