Fondomonte Arizona is seeking skilled Mechanics and Technicians to maintain the safety, reliability, and performance of the equipment that powers our operations. As a vertically integrated agricultural company, we grow, harvest, process, and export forage products.

Our mechanics, technicians, and welders are essential to our success. As a modern farming operation, we invest in advanced technology and high-quality agricultural, automotive, and heavy equipment. Our technical teams keep this equipment operating safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, welding, and continuous improvement.

We are looking for motivated automotive and diesel technicians who take pride in their work and are ready to grow professionally and financially. Pay Range: $20.50–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and position level.

Essential Job Functions
  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair agricultural, automotive, and heavy equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems and complete necessary repairs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, including fluid, filter, brake, tire, hose, and clutch inspections and service.
  • Maintain and repair tractors, harvesters, trucks, loaders, pumps, generators, and related equipment.
  • Complete welding, fabrication, installation, and equipment modifications as needed.
  • Accurately document completed work, equipment hours, and parts used.
  • Follow all company safety and environmental procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance supervisors and operations teams.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two or more years of automotive, diesel, agricultural, or heavy-equipment repair experience preferred.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Basic knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and AC/DC electrical systems.
  • Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment.
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Relevant mechanic or technical certification is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work safely as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, reach, push, and pull and to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
