Job description

• 10+Years Mandate
• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and COPYBOOK, ensuring efficient and error-free execution.
• Collaborate with business analysts and system architects to understand application requirements and design effective solutions.
• Work with CICS to develop and enhance transaction processing systems and services.
• Manage and optimize VSAM files, ensuring data integrity and efficient access.
• Develop and maintain DB2 databases, including writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Work with IMS to design, develop, and maintain hierarchical databases and transaction processing systems.
• Perform debugging, testing, and quality assurance to ensure the reliability and accuracy of mainframe applications.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide technical support and work closely with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges.
• Document code and technical specifications for future reference and training.
