Edwards Health Care Services (EHCS), a division of GEMCORE, is a well-established and growing national direct-to home medical supply provider. We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Representative to join our high energy team. The Customer Service Representative's primary role is answer incoming calls while focusing on customer satisfaction.
  • This is a full-time, non-exempt, entry level position.
  • Once training is complete, this position will potentially be part of a hybrid remote work schedule. This position is located in Hudson, OH.
  • Schedule is 8:15 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
  • Employer paid vacation and paid holidays.
  • Benefits available included medical/dental/vision, life, short and long-term disability insurances, and 401K Retirement Savings Plan.
  • Ongoing training and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treat both new and existing customers like a family member.
  • Reception of all incoming telephone calls and email.
  • Set-up new customer accounts for medical products service; such as diabetes supplies and breast pumps.
  • Obtain insurance, referral, physician, and patient demographic information.
  • Enter/Manage all refill orders for existing customers.

Core Competencies
  • Excellent verbal and computer skills with the desire to communicate with customers and prospects a majority of each workday.
  • Effective at retaining and disseminating health insurance plan information.
  • Ability to learn the products and receive training through virtual methods.
  • At least 1+ years of experience in a customer service organizations or healthcare environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment.
  • Word processing skill of 40 WPM.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Healthcare experience helpful but not necessary.

Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
