Job description

Hiring a Machine Maintenance Technician for Stephenville, TX facility! In this role you will maintain and repair all equipment and premises according to the maintenance plan to ensure the continuity of production in the manufacturing center.
Job Purpose:
Ability to perform more complex preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance as a multi-craft technician in a team environment focusing on CNC machines. Ability to work safely and follow policies and procedures in an industrial environment under minimal supervision.
Job Description
  • Performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure machine tool performance is maintained.
  • Changing oil and filters on main hydraulic units and lubrication units and lubricating moving parts of equipment.
  • Assists in the development of preventative maintenance programs for CNC machines
  • Performs major repairs of damaged and worn equipment
  • Cleans equipment and performs visual inspections of machine components.
  • Checking machine accuracies with precision test equipment.
  • Rebuilding and replacing machine components.
  • Properly completes required documentation.
  • Clean up area when work is completed.
  • Operates independently
  • Support 5S initiatives as directed
  • Assists entry level Maintenance Technicians as required.

You are meant for this job if:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 or more years of industrial maintenance experience or demonstrated maintenance experience, preferred
  • Technical certification preferred (i.e., CNC machine tool training, PLC programming, etc.)
  • Demonstrated hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
  • Safe work ethic.
  • Good housekeeping skills.
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
  • Ability to use hand tools shop equipment (such as sanders, drill press, mill, lathe, grinder, crane, forklift).
  • Ability to read and research some electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics and parts diagrams.
  • Good mechanical understanding.
  • Proper use of measuring instruments required. (Dial indicator, calipers, etc.)
  • Basic computer knowledge using Outlook, MS Office.
  • Advanced electrical knowledge preferred.
  • CNC and manual machining experience
  • Ability to work off-shifts (Weekends and nights) for an undetermined period of time.
  • Able to work well alone and in a team environment.
