Lube Technicians’ pay is dependent on skills and experience.

The Lube Technician is an entry level position within the Service Department, and as such it can be your first step in your career with the Frank Motors Group.  The Lube Technician is responsible for performing maintenance services which may include oil changes, tire rotations and repair, brake inspections, multi-point inspections, and other minor service operations. 

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Some of What You’ll do:

  • Perform oil and filter changes per company standards
  • Tire condition inspection, tread depth measurements, and rotations
  • Perform a multi-point inspection
  • Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
  • Perform brake pad/shoe inspection/measurement
  • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
  • Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
  • Maintain efficiency and accuracy while working on vehicles
  • Document repair orders per company standards
  • Communicate vehicle needs to service advisor
  • Test drive vehicle per company guidelines
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.

  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Technician school/technician experience (preferred)
