Are you a recent high school graduate, trade school student, or early-career machinist looking to grow your hands-on manufacturing skills? We are hiring a motivated Junior Machinist / CNC Operator to join our growing industrial manufacturing team in Parlin, NJ.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of CNC, shop, vocational, or mechanical experience who wants real-world training, stable hours, and long-term career growth in machining and manufacturing.
We manufacture and distribute custom industrial conveyor belts, rollers, shafts, bearings, motors, and mechanical replacement components for customers across North America.
No advanced programming experience required - we're looking for someone eager to learn, dependable, and mechanically inclined.
What You'll Learn & Do:
CNC Machining & Shop Work
  • Set up and operate a HAAS CNC Lathe (basic Y-axis work)
  • Machine custom 1-inch roller shafts to customer specifications
  • Read blueprints, diagrams, and measurements
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and preventative maintenance checks
  • Assist with prototype and custom part production
  • Maintain accurate inventory and update computerized systems

Manufacturing & Production
  • Help manufacture custom conveyor belts and industrial components
  • Measure, cut, trim, and assemble rubber materials and mechanical parts
  • Use hand tools and power tools including drills, tape measures, screwdrivers, and saws
  • Verify measurements and ensure quality standards are met

Warehouse & Shipping
  • Prepare and package customer orders for shipment
  • Use shipping software such as FedEx Ship Manager and UPS systems
  • Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
  • RF scan products and update inventory systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace
  • Forklift training is provided.
