We are growing and need immediate temporary, with opportunity for direct to hire, workers in our Assembly Department to meet the increased demand for our products. Job Description:

Basic assembly of a few parts following verbal and/or written procedures. This position works in a production line within a team. Each position on the production line assembles a few pieces of the product and passes it along to the next person for additional adds of parts. Ideal candidate will start learning one position within a specific product line and will continue to learn other positions on multiple product lines within the Assembly Department.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Basic assembly skills preferred along with a willingness to learn.
  • Capable of operating handheld tools and other equipment on a daily basis.
  • Able to utilize basic mechanical and electrical tools including but not limited to air-operated hand-held fastener torquing tools, special assembly fixtures, leak-test equipment and quality checking tools.
  • Ability to maintain a steady and acceptable assembly pace.
  • Capable of communicating, reading and understanding basic instructions using English language.
  • Must be able to work with smaller components; good eyesight and hand coordination.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to multitask with a commitment to quality.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for an 8-hour shift.
  • Must be dependable and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the safe, efficient completion of the assembly process in a high quality and repeatable manner.
  • Assembly of basic parts following verbal and/or written procedures, placing parts in specific relationship to each other.
  • Tend to machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
  • Maintain a safe work area.
  • Wear required PPE to maintain safety and adhere to all safety processes and procedures.
