Mill Operator

Mansfield, AR

Our Machine Operator Trainee/Utility position is an entry level role with the expectation that self-motivated individuals will advance into progressively skilled positions.

What you will do:

  • Successful applicants may be trained to function in a variety of positions, including cleanup and operating machinery, forklifts or other equipment as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Possess or have demonstrated the capability to operate machine center at assigned area and/or related equipment efficiently at productive rates without assistance.
  • Possess or have demonstrated the capability to know and meet all quality specifications for assigned area and/or related equipment.
  • Supporting our culture of safety by adhering to mill safety policies and procedures.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What you need to be successful:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Ability to work outdoors in all temperatures in loud, high volume environments performing physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position which includes walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, bending and lifting-up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, work in elevated work areas and tight close spaces.
  • Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check, drug screen test and physical.
