Job description

You’ll Have

  • 4-day work week, Mon-Thur, with occasional voluntary overtime.

Essential Duties

  • Operate various production machines will learning to set-up and troubleshoot each, including: grinders, beltsanders, presses, and basic CNC machines, etc.  
  • Load and unload high volumes of metal parts efficiently.  Move parts bins on and off pallets.
  • Visually inspect parts and learn to use basic inspection tools. 
  • Read and follow verbal and written instructions to identify and produce work. 
  • Accurately record production into computer.
  • Participate in continual improvement teams and activities.
  • Comply with all safety requirements including but not limited to good housekeeping.
  • Very reliable and punctual work attendance.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus hands-on mechanical aptitude and skills. 
  • Experience in manufacturing ideal but any mechanically related experience with basic math skills may qualify.
  • Must be able to understand spoken and written English well; bilingual Spanish ideal.
  • We're willing to train. So must be self-motivated and strongly committed to building a manufacturing career through high energy, attentiveness, a positive attitude, and desire to continuously improve.
  • Must be able to easily adapt to changing situations.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and continuously improve performance.
  • Outstanding reliable and punctual attendance - We have a great 2nd shift team and want only those committed to contributing daily. 
  • Physically capable of lifting, turning, bending walking, standing, reaching.
